Placebos, doctors, and fibromyalgia (Addendum)

As discussed in the last entry, one of the problems with surveying doctors' prescribing habits in treating fibromyalgia is that it disregards the controversy surrounding the diagnosis. Therefore, does doctors' use of placebos in treating fibromyalgia really represent their general use of placebos?
